  We have been here twice since new ownership, and it unfortunately has lost all its charm. The staff are always very friendly, and new owner is as well, but there is little decor and the place looks like a diner now. The lunch menu food is questionable, does not seem fresh, and has been off color (grey chicken, brown soup that should have been green). I felt apprehensive to eat there both times when the food was served. Baked goods were just fine, but not special. Maybe lacking some butter. I loved the quirky old lady feel it had before, and I understand the new owner is trying to make it more hip but they need to get the food back to fresh and tasty at least, in order to draw in the locals again when we have other great options a block away. Best of luck to them-- I know it's hard taking over a business and I hope they can bring back some charm and fresh food soon!
